​With this Integrated Thematic Unit, students will have several opportunities to consume and produce art of their own. Podcasts, posters, graphic organizers, presentations, and the final PSA are all chances for students to express their creativity and incorporate art and design into the unit. Students will be given choices as to how they want to complete certain activities, allowing them to be as creative and decorative as possible when creating their posters, presentations, etc.​​

Students will be exposed to art in all content areas in the form of presentations by the teacher, handouts, graphic organizers, textbooks, and other resources. Students with visual and kinesthetic learning styles will benefit most from incorporation of art into this unit.
